The BelArosa Chalet, a long-time favourite with the community, heads into summer with a new attraction.

The legendary guesthouse “Heimeli” in Sapün near Langwies now belongs to the BelArosa family. The house combines chalet luxury with privacy, a sky pool, an open fire and fine detail — and a Walser house more than 300 years old that smells of timber, mountain air and real stories.

The “Heimeli” was once a simple shelter for pack drivers on their way to Davos. The days were long, and so were the evenings in the parlour. It is just right for men who pair luxury not only with champagne but with hiking boots and a plate of Älplermagronen. Guests can now combine both: two nights at the BelArosa Chalet and one night in the historic “Heimeli”. In between lies a four-and-a-half-hour hike. That is exactly the appeal: out into the mountains first, then back into the warmth.
