La star de \u00abHeartstopper\u00bb y incarne un r\u00f4le bien plus sombre que celui pour lequel des millions de fans le connaissent dans le monde entier.<\/p>\n<p>Sur le green carpet, Locke s&rsquo;est montr\u00e9 d\u00e9tendu et visiblement enthousiaste pour sa premi\u00e8re visite \u00e0 Zurich. <strong>\u00abIt&rsquo;s my first time in Zurich, it&rsquo;s so beautiful here\u00bb,<\/strong> a-t-il confi\u00e9 au ZFF.<\/p>\n<p>Mais on a vite compris que sa visite allait bien au-del\u00e0 d&rsquo;une simple apparition au festival. Au centre de tout: \u00abBlack Church Bay\u00bb \u2013 un thriller myst\u00e9rieux queer qui traite des secrets, de la haine de soi et des cons\u00e9quences destructrices d&rsquo;une vie cach\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>\u00abA story about people who don&rsquo;t love themselves\u00bb<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Pour Locke, c&rsquo;est justement cette dimension humaine qui est centrale. Il a dit ceci du film dans un entretien avec le ZFF:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u00abThere are so many different stories and morals in the film. Il entame une liaison secr\u00e8te avec son \u00e9l\u00e8ve gay Jasper, incarn\u00e9 par Joe Locke. Peu apr\u00e8s, Jasper dispara\u00eet sans laisser de traces.<\/p>\n<p>Pour Barry commence alors une course contre la montre. Sa vie priv\u00e9e soigneusement dissimul\u00e9e menace d&rsquo;\u00e9clater au grand jour, tandis qu&rsquo;il est simultan\u00e9ment confront\u00e9 aux cons\u00e9quences de ses d\u00e9cisions. L&rsquo;histoire se d\u00e9roule dans une localit\u00e9 c\u00f4ti\u00e8re isol\u00e9e du pays de Galles et se transforme en un thriller myst\u00e9rieux haletant sur la sexualit\u00e9, les secrets et la question de savoir jusqu&rsquo;o\u00f9 une personne peut aller pour dissimuler son vrai moi.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9alisation a \u00e9t\u00e9 assur\u00e9e par Rhys Marc Jones, qui signe avec \u00abBlack Church Bay\u00bb son premier long m\u00e9trage. Outre Locke et Cullen, le casting comprend notamment Marli Siu et Rakie Ayola.
